Summary of standard project structure

The standard bit10 ltd. project structure, based on standard PRINCE2 methodology. 

The website redevelopment project structure may be broken into a number of key stages. The aim of this staged approach is to ensure that not only is the project completed in a structured and timely fashion (while adhering to budget restraints and business requirements), but that the project requirements are understood from the outset.

We will have already built in the time required for the requirements gathering and specification stages which are needed to crystallize the different aspects to this project, but for completeness the relevant information is included below when discussing project structure:

In summary the stages of the proposed project are:

• Idea generation and brainstorming
• Formalisation of requirements and scoping
• System prototyping
• Functional Specification
• Production (Engineering Requirements Specification (ERS), build and implementation, testing, refinement and QA)
• Each of these stages is discussed in more detail on the following pages
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and sign-off
• System deployment
