What is E-Append? 

E-Append is a simple cost effective way of getting email addresses appended to your customer base.  It is a pooled database of opted-in email addresses from different suppliers.  The good news is that it complies with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Act 2003 and the DMA Guidelines.

Where does the data come from? 

• internal data sources: Reactiv Media, Acxiom
• external data sources: IPT, CACI plus others
• total volume: 27m (15m unique)
• match rates up to 25%

These suppliers obtain the information from various data sources such as lifestyle questionnaires, transactional websites and online questionnaires etc.

How does the process work? 

• name and address data sent to bit10's partner - CCR Data
• the data is audited and matched against the internal data sources
• if higher match rate required the external sources are used
• email addresses are used to send an email from the potential client explaining why they would like to email the customer
• consumer has opportunity to opt out of their email address being passed on or to opt out of being on the original supplier's list
• successful data is appended
