The following sections are a brief explanation into the technologies implemented at bit10.

Flash

With the use of Adobe Flash, bit10 are able to create highly engaging web applications combining animation and interactivity with audio and video to produce sophisticated Rich Internet Applications (RIA), or just to add some flair to your site.

Flex

Flex enables rapid development of cross-platform Rich Internet Applications based on the Adobe Flash platform. 

Microsoft .NET

The .NET framework is Microsoft’s mature platform for building and running a wide variety of applications and services including both web and desktop.  The robust framework offers a secure, reliable and powerful platform to build sophisticated data driven websites as well as visually stunning user experiences.  With ASP.NET bit10 are able to create cutting-edge enterprise web applications taking advantage of web technologies such as AJAX to create more efficient and interactive experiences.

ASP.NET MVC

With ASP.NET MVC, bit10 are able to rapidly create and manage more easily web applications with advanced client-side interfaces taking advantage of technologies such as JavaScript and AJAX.  The framework offers all of the benefits of the ASP.NET platform but also allows finer control over output which is great for bit10 in ensuring our sites always meet web standards.  It also provides greater control over web URLs allowing for intuitive names which helps to optimise sites for search engines.

AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML)

AJAX represents a group of standard internet technologies and techniques which combine to create Rich Internet Applications.  It enables us to create more seamless and interactive web user experiences without the need for Flash or other multimedia platforms.

Sitecore
