  • 03/11/2006 12:00 - Possible service interruption to WarwickNet customers

To improve the performance of our external network circuit, BT engineers will be carrying out some maintenance work and a series of tests to our external network configuration. These will be conducted during Tuesday, 7th November 2006 between 9:00am and 6:00pm. We do not anticipate any major interruption to services as a result of this work, however there maybe some slow network connectivity and the period of work scheduled should be considered "at risk".

  • 22/09/2006 09:00 - Possible service interruption to WarwickNet customers

To improve our resilience and the performance of our network services, a number of changes are being made to our internal network configuration. These will be conducted during Saturday, 23rd September 2006 between 9:00am and 9:00pm. We do not anticipate any interruption to services as a result of this work, however the period of work scheduled should be considered "at risk".

  • 24/08/2006 09:00 - Possible service interruption to WarwickNet customers

Due to the recent electrical storms over the Coventry area we experienced an interruption in service to our bandwidth customers in the Vanguard Centre on the University of Warwick Science Park.

On Friday 25/08/2006 between 13:00 - 16:00 our engineers will be carrying out some major improvements to the connectivity resilience service.

We are anticipating a maximum of 5 minutes interruption to service.

  • 21/08/2006 09:17 - Service interruption to WarwickNet customers in Vanguard Centre

    Following the recent electrical storms over the Coventry area we experienced an interruption in service to our bandwidth customers in the Vanguard Centre on the University of Warwick Science Park.

    The fault was traced to a failure in the physical fibre connection to that building. Our engineers rectified the fault and resumed service early on Monday morning (21/08/2006).

  • 20/05/2006 - 21/05/2006 09:00 - Internal Network reconfiguration
    To improve our resilience and the performance of our network services, a number of changes are being made to our internal network configuration. These will be conducted over Saturday, 20 May 2006 to Sunday 21 May 2006 between 9:00am and 9:00pm. We do not anticipate any interruption to service as a result of this work, however the period of work should be considered "at risk".

  • 20/03/2006 11:23 - Macromedia Contribute access to customer sites
    Earlier problems with customer access to Macromedia Contribute sites have now been resolved. All customers affected have been contacted.

  • 20/03/2006 09:41 - Macromedia Contribute access to customer sites
    A small number of customers who use Macromedia "Contribute" to maintain their web sites are currently experiencing problems connecting to their sites to update them. We are aware of this issue and are currently working to resolve it. All customers affected will be contacted by our Support Team as soon as a fix has been identified.

  • 17/03/2006 15:34 - Coventry power outage
    The Canley area of Coventry, including our offices on the University of Warwick Science park, lost power between 8:00am and 8:54am on Friday, 17 March 2006. Unfortunately, the period of power loss exceeded the capacity of our battery backup supplies and a number of services had to be shut down pending reconnection of the supply to the area. All systems have now been re-powered and all services are now restored. If you find you are still experiencing problems please contact our Support Team , tel. +44 (0) 24 7685 3222. Many apologies for any inconvenience caused by this, however unfortunately the events leading to the power loss, and indeed the restoration of power were beyond the control of bit10 ltd.
